LAULIMA Day at ʻOlina Āina Farm

Join MFSN to support farmers Alex Pinsky and Lani Thur-Fine of ʻOlina ʻĀina Farm by helping to restore a historic access trail into the gulch area of the property. This access trail is the first step in their NRCS Invasive Species removal and Native Plants install project this year. Please wear a long sleeve shirt and long pants. Bring your gloves and sicle, water, sun gear and rain gear. Feel free to bring any farm abundance you would like to share. Directions to this farmsʻ location will be sent via the RSVP email.

LAULIMA Day In KAUPO

March 22 and 23, 8am – 6pm

Join MFSN to support Kaupo farmers accomplish larger tasks. In this rural location, events, guests, and most of all, volunteer labor… is a rare thing. The MFSN Kaupo ohana looks forward to hosting some of you for the weekend as we visit 3-4 farms in the area, and enjoy an overnight campout. Please be prepared for a long weekend with varying weather conditions. Details to be firmed up as we determine the order of the farms weʻre visiting, and how many people are joining in.

Come explore Kahumoku Family Farms, and help Uncle George with the harvests, and with the sharing of plant cuttings, seeds, and keiki. Please bring buckets and tubs for transporting plant cuttings and keiki
